When you've added everything you want to your cart click the "my cart" link at the top of the page to view all the items you're about to buy. You can also adjust your quantities or remove items from your cart.
Once you've got everything the way you want, click the "go to checkout" button to start the checkout process. If you're not already logged in, we'll ask you to "login". If it is your first time on this site, you'll need to "create an account". We also offer a guest checkout option but you'll miss out on the great benefits of having an account with us.
To complete the checkout process, you'll need to confirm your shipping information and enter your payment details. You'll have one last chance to review your order on the billing page before the order is placed. If you need to go back and change any information you've entered, simply select the checkout process stage you want to edit to by clicking on its name in the bread crumb navigation.

Your order isn't submitted until you click "place order" from the billing review page. If there are any problems with your payment, an error message will appear that will tell you how to correct it. Once your payment is complete you will see a page confirming that your order has been successfully placed as well as the details of your order.
Once your order is submitted you will receive two emails from us.
You will receive the first email shortly after your order is submitted, confirming that we have received your order. Next you'll receive a second email from us once your order has left our warehouse.
Don't forget you can always check on the status of your order at any time from the "my account" page.
Occasionally we'll send out promotional codes to our lucky Bootlegger cardholders. If you're not currently a Bootlegger cardholder, you're missing out, get on it!
Promotional codes let us know that a special offer should be applied to your order. Promotional codes may have special conditions or restrictions so double-check the code details in the email you received about it.
After you've added some items to your cart and are ready to checkout, enter your promotional code in the space provided on the "my cart" page. Once you've entered the promotional code and clicked "apply" you will see a message confirming that the promotional code has been applied to your order. If there is any problem with the promotional code you've entered, an error message will let you know how to fix the problem before you can continue to check out.
In some cases you can enter more than one promotional code for an order.
Not all promotions can be combined. If you enter promotional codes that cannot be combined, we will apply the one that works out the best for you, and you can save the unused promotional code for another order.
We accept MasterCard, Visa and American Express. Please note we are currently unable to accept Visa Debit as a form of payment. For your protection, all credit card information submitted is encrypted when communicating with the bank and we do not store your credit card information.
We attempt to authorize your credit card when you place your order. Your credit card is not billed until your order has been processed and is ready to be shipped from our warehouse.
Sometimes, credit card authorizations fail because of an incorrect expiry date, misentered digit in a credit card number or a misentered security code/CVS number. Entering the wrong billing address information can also cause the authorization to fail. Your billing address should be entered exactly the same way it appears on your credit card statement.
If all your billing information looks correct, and your order fails to authorize, please contact your credit card provider for further assistance. Or, you can always place your order again using a different credit card.
We accept INTERAC® Online. The INTERAC® Online payment option is currently only available to cardholders with online banking at the following financial institutions: RBC Royal Bank, Bank of Montreal, Scotiabank, and TD Canada Trust. Other financial institutions may be added shortly.
When you're going through the checkout process, select INTERAC® Online as your payment option on the "billing and review" page. You will be prompted to log in to your issuing bank and approve the payment. Please note that for INTERAC® Online transactions, the funds will be withdrawn from your bank account immediately after you place your order. Any adjustments or order cancellations will be refunded directly to your account at the time of processing. After your INTERAC® Online payment has been completed you will be brought back to the Bootlegger's site to your order confirmation page.
If your payment fails to authorize or complete, please contact your bank for further assistance or place your order again using a different tender type.
We accept PayPal payments. When you're going through the checkout process, select PayPal as your payment option on the "billing and review" page. You will be redirected to the PayPal site where you can confirm your payment. After your PayPal payment has been completed you will be brought back to the Bootlegger's site to confirm your order.
Taxes are calculated based on the tax rates in effect for the shipping address of your order. Where the law requires it, tax will also be applied to the shipping charge.
We do not offer tax exemptions for age or status on the website. Please visit your nearest Bootlegger store to purchase with tax exemptions.
