Bootlegger Home Office is currently searching for a Team Leader for our Women’s Buying Department.
The core objective of this role is to grow top line sales and gross profit through setting merchandise assortment direction for the Women’s Team. This direction will provide our buyers the basis to procure goods to achieve established financial and marketing objectives to ensure we’re delivering to our vision and mission and are upholding our values. Major Job Responsibilities •Strategically plans and manages the department to ensure its objectives are aligned with the Company goals and priorities •Develops team and talent for growth towards personal and business goals •Responsible for maximizing the business for the department and for ensuring a unified assortment for our Customer •Oversee the product side of the business •Sets Fashion direction •Approves all Assortment plans and price positions •Leads the creative process in color/concept development and product development •Explores and executes sourcing opportunities to meet quality and cost metrics
•10-15 years experience in a senior buying capacity required •Passion and love of the business, specifically product and teamwork and how they both deliver great results •Great blend of creative and commerce; can bring creative concepts (color, pattern, point of view) to life and execute through to in store •Experience in product development and creative process •Proven track record on running a successful, profitable business •Great taste and point of view that is relevant for our customer •Proven track record in developing and inspiring others •Proven track record in ability to connect merchandising strategies to marketing and visual initiatives •Champions and demonstrates the values of teamwork, growth and balance.
